Our STORY

After a long year (and a half) of COVID, Susan and Marc met through a dating app. After the usual awkward chatting as strangers on the internet, Susan and Marc had their first date at Mikerphone Brewery in Elk Grove Village. And it’s still one of their favorite local breweries.

On their first weekend trip away, they went to New Buffalo, MI in the dead of winter and fell in love with the area. On that trip, they stumbled into Journeyman Distillery. It was the highlight of the trip and always love going back and visiting.

In May of 2023, they welcomed their pup Maple and became a little family together.

They were engaged on July 13th, 2024 at Wilder Park Conservatory in Elmhurst with our families. Marc planned a whole weekend with everyone in on the secret (even the nieces and nephew) for months, Susan had no idea.

They are so excited to get married and celebrate with their closest family and friends at a place that means so much to them on what will be their fourth anniversary weekend.
